Something Strange in My Garden |
So here's the good news: I have been chosen to participate in the Life Is Art show on June 18th.
The expected attendance is 300-500. Wow.
Now that I passed that test I'm interested in submitting my drawings to some other shows.
It'll be exciting if anything sells. I've priced them at $75 each.
Here are three others that I found when I was going through my desk. Two of them were scribbled in a notebook - hence, the lines:
I've been having a lot of fun with this. And, these days, I keep my acid free drawing paper and pens handy for whenever I may be sitting in a medical office, watching TV, or whatever, so there will be no more lines unless that's what I want.
And what have you been doing for fun?

WOW!!!! WOW!!!!! WOW!!!!! Congratulations! This is fabulous news! Which piece(s) were selected? I want more details. How does this work? Where will they be hung? Is there a website that refers to the event? I want to know EVERYTHING! I am sooooo proud of you!
Love ya!

Thank you! The website is Life is Art, http://www.lifeisartfest.org/
If you can't click to it from here try the link to the right under Websites I Like.
Carol, that's fantastic!!! I'm absolutely thrilled for you!!!! I will definitely check out the website.

ok..I still don't understand. Is your work on the site? If not, where/how does a person see it? Is it going to be in a live venue? When? Where? Help here!

Sorry for the confusion. I have to deliver the pieces, matted & framed and ready to hang, before the event. If any of them sell they take a commission and I get a check.
Now, here's a fun thing: I just submitted a design which - if it should win - will be on a beer bottle! More about that later.
Ohhhhhh..I am loving all of this! So, when is the event? Do you think they will post photos on their web site of all of the artwork? Did they accept all of yours?

omg...art on a beer bottle! Love this!
So proud of you, Carol! You definitely have fine drawings. Now that you're ready to show them, keep putting them 'out there', and I believe they WILL sell. I think it's your unusual point of view that makes your drawings especially desirable. ... and have FUN!!
